Eagle Vision Inc. is one of Canada's leading Aboriginal owned Production Companies. Founded in 2000, Eagle Vision produces exceptional, award winning television and film content for the Canadian and International marketplace.

FEATURE FILMS:

WALK ALL OVER ME is Eagle Vision's latest project, starring two-time Golden Globe nominee Leelee Sobieski, and former Supermodel and Battlestar Glactica star Tricia Helfer. WALK ALL OVER ME is a feature film co-production with Alberta's Chaos a film company. WALK ALL OVER ME had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2007, where it sold to the Weinstein Company.

BLUE STATE had its world premiere at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival. BLUE STATE is an Indie film about a disgruntled Democrat who actually follows though on a drunken campaign promise to move to Canada if George "Dubya" Bush gets re-elected. BLUE STATE stars Academy Award winner Anna Paquin and Breckin Meyer. MGM recently purchased the film for worldwide distribution.

CAPOTE was a co-production with Infinity Features, United Artists and Sony Pictures. CAPOTE was nominated for five Academy Awards and BAFTA Awards, including Best Picture. CAPOTE won the Oscar for Best Actor for Phillip Seymour Hoffman's performance. Eagle Vision is proud to have been a co-production company on the film.

TELEVISION MINI-SERIES AND MOW's:

ELIJAH is an MOW produced for CTV and APTN. Eagle Vision co-produced the MOW with Anagram Pictures. ELIJAH is the true story of Elijah Harper, one of the greatest heroes in Canadian Aboriginal political history. The film has played to an enthusiastic response from film festival audiences at: The 2007 Calgary International Film Festival, The 2007 Vancouver International Film Festival and The 2007 imagineNATIVE Film Festival.

WHITE BUFFALO is a multi-platform project of a monumental scale. Featuring a mini-series, documentaries, educational materials, online content and archives. WHITE BUFFALO will be the biggest event in Canadian Television history and will finally tell the true story behind what happened to Canada's First People. Eagle Vision is proud to be partnered with Barna Alper Productions in the development of this project.

TELEVISION SERIES:

THE SHARING CIRCLE is the longest running Aboriginal series in Canadian television history. Currently celebrating its sixteenth season, THE SHARING CIRCLE is an award winning documentary series that explores Aboriginal stories and issues, and celebrates Aboriginal achievements and traditions. THE SHARING CIRCLE is broadcast on CHUM, SCN and APTN.

TIPI TALES, originally developed by Eagle Vision, is a half-hour children's drama and has been the proud recipient of two prestigious Parents Choice Awards. Currently in its third season, TIPI TALES is broadcast from coast to coast across Canada on Treehouse TV and APTN.

WE'LL MEET AGAIN, is Dean Hargrove's (Matlock, Columbo, Jake and the Fatman, Diagnosis Murder) American adaptation of a popular British TV series, which has enjoyed a seven-season success on the BBC.



MUSIC AND VARIETY SPECIALS:

THE ABORIGINAL PEOPLE'S CHOICE MUSIC AWARDS honor the best in Aboriginal music. The 2007 ABORIGINAL PEOPLE'S CHOICE MUSIC AWARDS are to be hosted by "Corner Gas" stars Lorne Cardinal and Gabrielle Miller. The annual award show features humor, dance and music and is a celebration of both the nominees and winners. Eagle Vision was recently selected as the exclusive production company for the show for the next ten years. APTN and Bell ExpressVu! HD are broadcasting the show live.

STARCATCHER will seek out Canada's most talented Aboriginal, Metis, and Inuit performers in the categories of SINGERS, DANCERS, and COMEDIANS. The most unique element of Star Catcher is that there is no weekly elimination. Although there can only be one winner, this is a show about celebration, not elimination.

WE JOGGIN' is an annual one-hour HD variety program that is a unique, multi-lingual, performance experience that celebrates the human spirit through song, dance and laughter. Award-winning artists of national recognition share the stage with emerging First Nations, Metis, Inuit and Francophone performers. The ongoing annual event is broadcast on APTN.

CELEBRATE: THE MUSIC OF OUR PEOPLE is a one-hour variety program showcasing the best of Aboriginal music and dance from across Canada, for BRAVO and APTN.

DOCUMENTARIES:

POLYGAMY'S LOST BOYS is a one-hour documentary that follows three young men as they struggle to survive in the world they were raised to believe is wicked. They were members of the Fundamentalist Mormon Church. The church's core belief: one man, multiple wives. The group's elders take the pick of the young girls as 3rd 4th and 5th brides, leaving a surplus of viral young men who are cast away, often with devastating consequences. The documentary's broadcasters are Global TV and Knowledge Network.

THE SPIRIT OF NORWAY HOUSE is a one-hour documentary about hydro development in Northern Manitoba, and its impact on the people of Norway House First Nation. This spectacular doc features some of the best pre-contact reenactments ever created and was acquired by APTN and SCN. WHERE THREE RIVERS MEET is a stunning one-hour documentary that tells the story of Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation, and how the Churchill River Diversion changed their lives forever. It explores the people's relationship past, present and future to the land, and with Manitoba Hydro. The film has been acquired by APTN and SCN.

OTHER WORK:

SHARING OUR STORIES is an effort to gather the stories of Canada's Aboriginal Residential School Survivors. Through a commission by the Legacy of Hope, Eagle Vision has helped gather over five hundred video and audio interviews of the Survivors. For many of the Survivors, it is the first time their stories are being shared. Now they will never be forgotten.
